Hello!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We just got back from Boston last night. Man, the weekends just go by way too quick, huh? We had a crazy past few days traveling to Boston and home, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into my routine this week. Anyways, back with another week of Bailey's Bites 🙂
Flying with Eleanor is getting.... more interesting!
It's no secret that newborns require a lotttt of sleep. Getting Eleanor to sleep on a flight was MUCH easier when we first started flying with her, and has obviously gotten a bit more challenging now that she wants to be moving all over the place and is so wiggly. The flight up to Boston and back was noticeably more challenging as she's become more aware and way more active. Yesterday, it didn't help that we were stuck on the tarmac without AC in the 95+ degree heat for over an hour... there were definitely tears shed from both of us. Overall, Boston was amazing and worth the challenging flight home but I'm looking forward to a little stretch without flying!

Boston was AMAZING.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that Boston is by far my favorite U.S. city and it did not disappoint. I plan to work on a Boston "guide" post because I got so many messages from so many of you telling me you were planning a trip there, and I have some recommendations! While the impetus of our travels was Charlie's work trip, we also got to spend time with his siblings, his best friend, his parents, and one of my best friends from college.

Does anyone else watch Virgin River?!
I'm OBSESSED with Virgin River and was soooo excited to hear that they just came out with another season!! It's taking everything in me to hold off on watching it, but I'm trying to save it to watch while in the Outer Banks. If you watched it, what do you think of it?!
Speaking of the Outer Banks... We leave on Saturday for our trip!
I'm SO excited to take Eleanor to the Outer Banks for the first time. I've always dreamed of continuing our Outer Banks tradition and taking my own daughter there one day, so it really feels like a dream come true to be taking her there next week. I truly cannot wait - but do I really have to unpack and immediately repack again? Haha.
My fellow thicc-thigh ladies!
When I was in Boston this past week, it was 95 degrees some days and I did a LOT of walking. I know I've talked about these on my Instagram stories already, but I cannot believe how much I swear by these two things to avoid chafing in the summer: these under-dress shorts and this anti-chafing stick. Even walking miles and miles, the shorts didn't ride up on me at all, and the I swear by the stick!
My new beach/pool bag
While I was in Massachusetts, my in-laws gave me this new beach bag for my birthday and OMG. It's so spacious, so cute, and all of Charlie's cousins who were there told me how great it is! I mean, just look at the reviews 🙂
The dinner I'm making this week
Wow, I'm so excited to get back to healthy eating after a week away - and excited to share some of my healthy meals again! I know I've raved about this air-fried salmon recipe a million times, but if you haven't made it yet, what are you waiting for?! Add it to your line-up for the week! If you don't have an air fryer, you can make it in the oven, too. The flavors are so good.
I hope you enjoyed this week's Bailey's Bites! Have a great week!

Yes! I love Virgin River. So cute and definitely Gilmore Girls vibes with a little more ~drama~. I’m trying hard not to binge watch it and truly enjoy it!
